Before the music and the companies there was a stage and a panel of judges. He trained for months for a few minutes under the lights, scored on proportion, symmetry, and the honesty of the form. A physique cannot be faked. That is most of the reason it was worth building first.

He read rooms from the booth for years, recording and releasing as Omar Ranti on a label of his own. The boring half came with it: a night only works if the numbers do.
